Dark Matter eLiquid

Enjoy the wonderful flavor of our latest VapeSafe eLiquid - Dark Matter.

Dark Matter tastes like German chocolate cake. For those of you who have not had the fortunate to try a piece German chocolate cake recently, this is a great way to experience the flavor without getting any of the calories. German chocolate cake is a layered cake filled and topped with a coconut-pecan frosting. Traditionally sweet baking chocolate is used for the chocolate flavor in the actual cake. The robust filling and topping is a caramel made with egg yolks and evaporated milk. Once the caramel is cooked, coconut and pecans are stirred into the mixture. Finally, rich chocolate frosting is spread around the sides of the cake to hold in the filling.

Dark Matter eLiquid by VapeSafe captures the essence of German chocolate cake. Dark Matter eLiquid delivers plumes of vapor and rich chocolatey flavor that you'll want to enjoy again and again. Try Dark Matter today!

First in the brand-new Southern Beauty Shop mystery series

St. Elizabeth, Georgia, offers charm, Southern hospitality-and, most recently, murder. When hairdresser Grace Terhune and her mother, Violetta, gussy up all the high-society ladies attending the town meeting, they find their snobbiest client dead. The police believe the mother-daughter duo did her in. But before things get snarled beyond repair, Grace sets out to clear their names.

Summary: "All Tressed Up"

SUMMARY: Divorced beautician Grace Terhune has moved back to her hometown of St. Elizabeth, Georgia, working in the beauty shop her mother, Violetta, runs out of her home. While getting over her failed marriage and readjusting to small town life, grand society dame Constance DuBois blows into the shop, is dissatisfied with her treatment, and leaves in a huff, issuing dire threats of vengeance. When she later turns up dead, Violetta is number one on the suspect list, and Grace is not about to let her mother be railroaded.

WHY YOU'LL LIKE THIS: Grace is a funny, smart, and capable heroine. She doesn't let people walk all over her, instead preferring to smile sweetly as she delivers her barbs and looks of outrage. Most interesting (and appreciated) about her is that she's not dumb. She doesn't stumble over clues, but actually goes looking for them, utilizing the brain she knows she has. There are elements of romance in this story, but they're mostly undercurrents and don't in anyway overpower the story or take away from the fact that this is a mystery novel. The Southern setting is charming, the secondary characters are fabulously well-drawn, and the text is snappy and engaging. Well-written, well-paced, and with superior characterization, this novel is a winner.

WHY YOU WON'T: If you're paying close enough attention, you'll figure out who the killer is relatively early on. If this is the case, just sit back and enjoy the ride as Grace puts the pieces together. There are other minor mysteries to be solved, and a slew of capable red herrings to distract you. Even if you discover the killer's identity prior to the denouement, it's worth continuing the book to see how everything is resolved.

BOTTOM LINE: One of the best releases in the cozy genre in quite some time. If you're familiar with the genre, this novel is a breath of fresh air - Grace is gutsy and determined, intelligent without being irritating, and is no milquetoast. She's definitely someone with whom I'd like to grab a drink and gossip. You just can't help but root for her and admire her tenacity. And for those who don't believe the cozy genre is for them, give this book a try and be pleasantly surprised. This is a welcome addition to the genre, and definitely a series to watch.

Summary: "Good debut."

A good first effort but too Southern and over-cozy for my taste. I'll read more if they come my way, but won't go looking.

Summary: "Great "Southern Cozy" Debut"

This is one of the best new "cozy series" debuts that I have read in a long time! I picked up this book and when I started reading it, I simply could not put it down. Dare has done an amazing job of capturing life in a small Georgia town. It is almost as if St. Elizabeth springs to life from the pages of this book.

Grace Terhune works in her mother's beauty salon in downtown St. Elizabeth. When one of the town's most prominent citizens, Constance DuBois, is unceremoniously murdered, following an incident at the salon, where she vows to shut it down, Grace's mother becomes a prime suspect in the murder. Secrets are buried real deep in St. Elizabeth, and it seems like everyone has something to hide. Hot on the trail to find the real killer, Grace finds herself in danger, and within inches of her life, several times before she discovers who the real culprit(s) are. Not everyone is who they seem to be in St. Elizabeth!

Summary: "Great New Series!"

It's hard to believe that this is a first novel. The characters are interesting and people that you want to know better. One is invested in what happens to them.

The plot also was clever. This wasn't a book that you can tell who the killer is the first time you meet him/her, but there are also enough clues along the way so that you have half a chance of figuring it out.

I can't wait for Lila Dare's next novel and have already pre-ordered it.

Summary: "Great book!"

Short and sweet, I loved this book! It was a very fast read, and I really didn't guess who did it until it was revealed, I had an idea but it was still a surprise. I loved all the characters and can't wait to read the next in the series.
